Addicts often have trouble admitting a problem or figuring out how to get help. Friends and family members may know a substance abuse intervention is their only hope and, although it is a difficult decision, it may be necessary to save the life of a friend or loved one.

The good news is, the process of an intervention is easier than you think. And, with the guidance of a professional the success rate is much higher.

There are a lot of things to consider when planning an intervention. I work with the family and friends as a team and I will guide you through every step of the process. You will always know what step we are on, why, and what comes next.

What is the cost of an intervention? This is a challenging question. Each situation is unique so there is no one-size-fits-all price. Intervention services range from $2000-$5000 depending on level of need and support. This is an intricate process, and a highly skilled and powerful professional WILL make all the difference. Emotions are high and people are scared, this is exactly when you need a bona fide expert to lead the way and fill in all the blanks. All you have to do is show up with love and hope. There is no way to put a price on the support you get throughout the course of planning, as well as through the months of the rehabilitation center process.

We lay out every detail with a strategy. From the way we talk, the words we use, the way we sit, who speaks and who doesn’t… there is a method to every step that ensures we achieve the best result possible. I will walk you through each part and you will know exactly what you are doing and why you are doing it that way. Not only do I stay with the family and loved ones through the planning and intervention process, but I also remain by your side the entire time your loved one is in drug detox/alcohol detox, substance abuse treatment, and after. Issues arise while someone is in a rehabilitation center, and I will continue to coach the family through those situations, communicating with the treatment team, and starting to build new habits. Simultaneously working on family healing while the loved one is away.

Signs of alcoholism and rehabilitation centers
We truly walk through this time together, from beginning to end. And you have access to all of my knowledge and experience as a professional, but also as a recovering alcoholic. As addicted people, our minds tend to work a little differently than the non-addicted population. I can help you explore communication barriers, help set healthy boundaries, understand enabling behaviors, and work with everyone to heal and feel better.

The intervention team will be people that love the addicted person and want the best for them. We can figure out solutions for people out of state, or for other people that may not want to be in the room but want to offer support and love. There is a way to include everyone safely and appropriately.

A rough draft of an intervention process looks like this:

  • Information Gathering
  • Planning
  • Intervention
  •  Treatment

It takes 4-7 days for planning and getting details mapped out if we work quickly. In an emergency, we can do it more quickly, however, I will not rush into a situation that is not properly planned and comfortable for everyone. We want to achieve the best result possible, and we may only have one shot- we want to do it well and do it right.
